Pickleball courts dimensions are generally sized according to US pickleball guidelines. Pickleball is exploding in popularity in the United States and players of all ages are captivated by the sport. The game of pickleball is perfect for players of all ages and abilities.
Pickleball court sizes
If your court requires custom dimensions, GreenSet can accommodate your needs. Here are the dimensions of a standard pickleball court:
The minimum playing area is 9m x 18m. The standard size is 10m x 19m.
The competition field size is 12m x 21m.
The pickleball nets are 6m long and 1m high (1m high on the sides and 0.8m high in the centre of the pitch).
Pickleball net poles are generally made from 3mm polyethylene and should use half a kilo of vinyl tape (Note: GreenSet recommends fibreglass blocks for strength and longevity) The net poles are placed 6m from the centre.
The centre strip is the same as that used for tennis.
The side lines are the lines perpendicular to the net on each side of the court.
The baselines are the lines parallel to the net at both ends of the court.
The overall court dimensions are 6m wide x 13m long.
Note: These dimensions apply to both single and double pickleball matches. They include the net areas, the off lines and the no bounce area (the no bounce area is 2m from the net).
The width of the pickleball lines is 5 cm (the same width as the lines on a tennis court).
Pickleball court size
The official standard size pickleball court is 44 feet long from the baseline and 20 feet wide from the baseline.
A 7-foot non-volley zone extends on each side of the net. The line of the non-volley zone defines the area called the kitchen.
There are 15 feet between the non-volley zone line and the back line. The center line divides this area into two halves 15 feet wide. This centre line is used to indicate the service areas on the right and left of each side.

A badminton doubles court has the same dimensions as a pickleball court, only the height of the net varies.
You can put four pickleball courts on a normal tennis court. Only one pickleball court can be placed on a volleyball court.
4 pickleball courts can be placed on a basketball court (92′ x 50′).
